Round, balanced chocolate bourbon-ish goodness

Not that kind of pastry mexican cake you may expect, but instead a very very balanced beer, with loads of chocolate and oak coconut/vanilla goodness. Spices are quite subtle. Really outstanding.

An awesome experience!

Fantastic brew from Epic! Pours dark and thick...hints of chocolate through out...coffee and cinnamon make their presence known. It's not boozy but you get a hint of the whiskey barrel aging...got a slight hint of caramel from it. Would definitely get this one again!

Epic brew!

Awesome! Chocolate, cinnamon, roasty coffee, mocha (lots of chocolate!), vanilla, and subtle whiskey barrel. Full bodied and totally delicious!

big hitter

Black thick heavy coffee stout with cinnamon/vanilla presence the whiskey barrel aging brings a bit of earthiness to the table but isn't overly present (which isn't a bad thing to me). Like an after dinner beer but not dessert, I didn't find it cloyingly sweet and it screams drink more.

Amazing

A phenomenal beer that I'll most likely buy again. I drank it with 4 others and we all enjoyed it. It has a nice chocolate flavor throughout that sits on your tongue at the end. Between the cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, and vanilla, you get a very slight coconut flavor (even though I don't believe coconut is an ingredient) that's very pleasant. A great sipping, dessert beer.
