Stout - Imperial / Double | 10.2% ABV

Commercial Description:

Black Is Beautiful is an initiative led by San Antonio’s Weathered Souls Brewing that was created to bring awareness to the injustices that many people of color face every day. The mission is to bridge the gap that’s been around for ages and provide a platform to show that the brewing community is an inclusive place for everyone of any color.

Our version of Black Is Beautiful is a straight up good ol’ Imperial Stout with notes of bittersweet chocolate and roast.

Black is Beautiful and so is beer

Pleasant roasted aroma, medium mouthfeel, I get a slight burn upfront which feels more like hot peppers than alcohol, roasted coffee and chocolate notes, and a subtle hint of licorice in the finish.

Fantastic

Smooth, dark, smooth, and really strong. A delicious beer with a good cause. Definitely would order again.

Our third version of Black Is Beautiful

Very dark Imperial Stout - just a touch of burnt malt flavor. Not much else going on - smooth flavor and just the right abv finish
