- coffee grind notes
Pours to a jet-black color with a prodigious creamy tan head such that I had to continually wait for it to recede, pour some more, then wait again. The nose is heady with coffee grinds. Taking a sip, the beer is medium to full in body, roasty like black coffee with caramel and coffee grind notes mixed with smooth silky oats. A thick layer of Brussels lace clings to the sides of my glass. Finishes grassy hoppy adding a chicory note, and coffee roasty. Love the way the caramel pops against the coffee notes.
