IPA - Double / New England | 8% ABV

Commercial Description:

We found an old mechanical hop picking machine in the fields of England, in the shadow of Stonehenge. With a lot of work, a modicum of sweat and a little monkey grease, the newly refurbished machine has been repurposed to deliver hop flavor to your mouth as efficiently as possible. Featuring a heap of citrusy Citra and mounds of mango-ish Mosaic hops conveyor belted on a base of wheat and flaked oats.

Excellent New England-Style DIPA

Really juicy up-front, but the finish is dry and clean. The Citra and Mosaic hops are my all-time favorite hop combo. Add some oats for a less bitter finish and this is a dangerously crushable beverage. If you’re looking for a fantastic NE DIPA, this is it.

CraftShack® Revision Bruff Review
Bruff Enough

The Citra and Mosaic are my favorite combination. This hazy New England DIPA is exactly what you would want. Juicy and fragrant with the slightly bitter finish. I have not been disappointed by a Revision beer, yet!

Good not great

A solid brut, but lacking the flavor punch you would expect from Revision

Mouthfeel is everything.

When it comes to the hazy style, many point to the juicy qualities... but that really has nothing to do with it in my opinion. If a beer tastes like juice, and not beer, that’s a failure. The hazy style is most dependent on getting the mouthfeel right in conjunction with a moderate amount of bitterness. It needs to to be hazy, and thick, and soft on the mouth, highlighting tropical/juicy characteristics but not sacrificing the bitter backbone that makes it an IPA to begin with. This beer achieve all of that. Mouthfeel. Tropical Juice. IPA bitterness. The can I had was a couple months old and still achieved it. If it was fresher, I may have given this a full 5 stars.

Revision brewing Bruff

Another dam good beer by Revision..a true juice bomb with the citrus and mosaic hops shining thru..the oats bring back the bitterness and allow a clean juice bomb finish
