Pale Ale - American | 6% ABV - 2017 GABF American-Style Strong Pale Ale Gold Medal Winner
Hubert? I’ve heard of him. A friend of a friend knows him. Apparently he’s awesome, but we’ve never met. Well. It’s about time you did. Most you connoisseurs would just call him an IPA, but we call him an MPA. The Melvin Pale Ale. A welcomed hand shake to your taste buds. Light, crisp, fresh and a little bitty bitter. Lets just say he won’t be that jerk that leaves you at the bar at 2am. He’s low in alcohol. What a nice guy… that Hubert.

1 1/2" off white head, sudsy and dense with good retention. Golden pale ale with limited clarity. Good looking fresh and sticky lace pattern here.
Citrus and tropical nose. Mango, pineapple, peach, orange, grapefruit. Pine.
Fruit salad representing a wide array of hoppy flavors with a hit of piney bitterness on the finish. There's a hefty enough, almost creamy flavor to the malt backbone.
Medium to a more than medium body - carbonation is appropriate. Has a can conditioned type of mouthfeel a la SNPA. Long finish with a good punch of bitterness above that of a typical pale ale. Dry finish as well.
