Stout - Russian Imperial | 10.5% ABV
Commercial Description:
This hauntingly good brew in your hand is rife with dark complexities. Seven malts were used to create deep flavors of coffee, chocolate, caramel, and molasses. A hint of bitterness and herbal character from carefully selected European and American hops help support the monolithic maltiness. A truly decadent brew that is intended to be poured into your favorite snifter and given time to warm up from its dark and cool resting place.

Lands between imperial and dessert due to its sweetness and is worth letting warm for a different experience.
Black pour with a thin beige head and no lacing … aroma of coffee, chocolate, licorice, cocoa, caramel malts and roasted malts ….. taste is of dusty cocoa, rich roasted coffee, sweet caramel malts and sweet chocolate …. Finish is of sweet chocolate, dry roasted malts, light coffee, little bitter cocoa bite and caramel malts ….. great base, abv hidden well, slick, silky and smooth mouthfeel ….. medium to full bodied
Nice strong ABV. This was a little thinner than expected but awesome layers
Did not have the heavier texture and taste I look for in this type beer.
Top notch flavor and balance. Loved this beer and will drink again!
