Definitely would buy this again. Nice maple, smoky taste
Excellent, well balanced and very smooth.
Delightfully smoky, decidedly roasty nose. Taking a sip, the beer is thinner in body than I expected, but it is not short on flavor. Smoke, wood, brown sugar maple bacon, caramel, and warming alcohol in the finish are all present here. It is actually smokier than I expected, and I am very much enjoying that. In this case, the lighter body (to be clear, than the style generally provides, the beer is not at all light bodied) allows the smoke to shine through and the maple to grab your tongue, too. You can style this as a Baltic Porter, or a spiced beer (the maple), or a Rauchbier and not be wrong in any of those classifications. I'll call it a rauchbier, as that is the character that popped most for me.
really like this one. rich roasted malt and sweet maple flavors with a hint of smoke in the back of the palete. wish they were available near me so I can buy them all the time. definitely get if your a fan of porters esp. baltics
