Basil Hayden's Caribbean Reserve Rye Whiskey

This spinoff from traditional Basil Hayden is fantastic. Has sweet, nutty, vanilla taste. Full disclosure, the rum cask finish definitely mellows out the bourbon undertones but is a wonderful mixing drink for summer cocktails. Try it mixed with ginger ale or a spin on Manhattan cocktail

Unique Flavor, very good

It has a very unique sweetness to it, I had heard about the BH Caribbean Reserve and always wanted to try it. So glad I did! Definitely one of my new favorites.

A very Dark Whiskey

It is a little a the sweet side probably because of the rum. If you are looking for something easy to drink and a little different from your normal whiskey give it a try. I would give it 4 1/2 stars
